Our hunting ground lies on the highlands of Glamoč in western Bosnia and Herzegovina — a mix of open karst plateau, dense conifer forest, and quiet pasture.

Wildlife
The ground supports a wide range of species, from red-listed big game to small game on the open plateau.
Brown bear
Ursus arctos
The largest animal on our ground, and the one that asks most of a hunter. Bears here range widely across the forested slopes and are approached only with a guide who knows their movements.

Wolf
Canis lupus
The animal on our emblem. Wolves work these mountains in packs and are rarely seen by chance — most encounters come at dusk or in snow, after long, patient waiting.

Roe deer
Capreolus capreolus
The most numerous game on our ground and the species most guests come for. The bucks here carry good heads, helped by the mineral-rich karst grazing.

Capercaillie
Tetrao urogallus
A bird of the old conifer forest, and the most demanding quarry we have. Reaching a lek means being in the forest well before first light, in silence.

Wild boar
Sus scrofa
Hunted here mainly on driven hunts with hounds through the winter — a social day in the field, and the one our members look forward to most.

Red fox
Vulpes vulpes
Present across the whole ground, from the forest to the edges of the villages. Often taken alongside other small game in winter.

Brown hare

Small game of the open plateau, hunted in the traditional way on foot across the karst fields.

Common quail
Coturnix coturnix
A migratory bird of the meadows, hunted over pointing dogs in the late summer grass.

Yes — most of our guests come from abroad, and we regularly host visitors from Italy, Germany, Austria and Croatia. We can advise on what a visit involves, but entry rules, firearm paperwork and trophy documentation depend on your own country's requirements as well as those of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so please raise this early and check with the relevant authorities.
Yes. A guide takes you to the places where game moves at the right time of day, and you work from the same approaches we use for hunting. Spring and early autumn give the best light and the most activity.
Of course. Nature observation and photography visits are a normal part of what we do, and companions who prefer not to hunt are welcome to join the walking and the evenings without taking part in the hunting itself.
We help guests find accommodation nearby and arrange local meals. What is available varies with the season and the size of the group, so this is agreed for each visit and confirmed in your proposal rather than promised in advance.
Sturdy boots that suit rocky ground, layered weatherproof clothing, and binoculars. The karst is hard walking and the weather on the plateau changes quickly, even in summer. Bring your own optics if you shoot better with them, and tell us in advance so we can advise on the paperwork.
Brown bear, wolf, roe deer, capercaillie, wild boar, fox, hare and quail. Which of these can be hunted, and when, is set by the applicable regulations and by our wildlife-management plan — we will tell you honestly what is possible for your dates.
Yes. Driven hunts for wild boar in winter are a group activity by nature, and we also put together programmes for clubs and companies at other times of year. Tell us how many of you there are and we will say what suits the season.
The nearest airports are Split and Sarajevo, each around three hours away by road. Most guests drive or arrange a transfer, which we can help coordinate. The exact meeting point is fixed when your visit is confirmed and depends on where you are staying and where we will be hunting.
Your preferred dates, how many people are coming, what you hope to do, and whether anyone in the group is not hunting. If you have hunted before, tell us what and where — it helps us judge which ground and which approach will suit you.
